Is it really free forever?
Yes. Dictation, recording and transcripts are free forever; speech becomes text on your computer. Cloud features, such as Polish (dictation cleanup), AI meeting notes and Ask, send the text they need to our AI providers. Free includes 100 cloud requests a month, reset on the 1st (UTC). Pro makes them unlimited (fair use) and adds Live Answers.
Does anything join my call?
No. Noted takes notes from your computer’s audio, so nobody sees a bot. Let people know you’re taking notes, as you would with any recording.
Which apps does it work with?
Any app with a text box: Claude Code, Cursor, Slack, Gmail, Notion, Word and the rest. Calls on Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Slack huddles, FaceTime, Webex, or in the room.
Where are my recordings kept?
Your notes stay on your computer; Noted has no cloud copy of them. Audio never leaves your computer. It isn’t kept after your note is written, unless you turn on Keep audio for 7 days.
